Co-Founder and Executive Director

David Karchmer is a fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM) and is a board certified reproductive acupuncturist. He is a respected educator, author, and clinical acupuncturist. He received his clinical training in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM, and holds a Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine. In 1996, he entered clinical practice and was licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. Mr. Karchmer went on to serve for eight years as a core faculty member at the prestigious Academy of Oriental Medicine as Austin from 1996-2004.

As an educator, he has trained hundreds of acupuncture students through lectures, seminars and supervision of clinical training. He is also the author of several acupuncture training manuals and has published articles in his field’s top trade journals.

In 2004, Mr. Karchmer left teaching to devote himself to full time clinical practice. He is the co-founder of the Texas Center for Reproductive Acupuncture, where he is recognized as one of the Central Texas’ top acupuncture specialists in the treatment of infertility, ovulation disorders, gynecological syndromes, and miscarriage prevention.
