Jennifer Jones

Director of Emotional Support Services

Jennifer brings extensive training to her specialized treatment of fertility related concerns. In conjunction with Texas Center for Reproductive Acupuncture, she is developing a unique short-term counseling program blending talk therapy, guided imagery and meditation. This mind-body approach for individuals and couples has been instrumental in the healing of stress, loss, anger and uncertainty involved with infertility.

Jennifer started as a college professor in Communication and Cultural Studies, researching adoption and self-identity. She was also a career counselor, helping hundreds of clients navigate complex life transitions and create rewarding futures.

In her therapist work in Los Angeles, CA, she took advantage of the wealth of training in mind-body psychology and studied in depth health psychology, EMDR, Mindfulness Meditation and Interpersonal Neurobiology. She worked with child and family development, traumatic grief and loss, cancer treatment and developed a hospital based patient support program, “Focus on Healing” which also served as a clinical training site for health psychologists.

In her private practice, she worked with clients coping with career disruption due to family planning, assisted reproductive issues, IUIs, IVFs, egg donors, miscarriages, adoption decision making, couple stress and self-identity issues.

She enthusiastically offers her training, personal experience, knowledge of science regarding emotions, the brain and healing and most importantly, her heart-felt, sincere commitment towards helping clients feel better and achieve their dreams.
