Meet Our Fertility Acupuncturists
Marisa Kahlich L.Ac
Owner & Clinical Director
Acupuncturist & Herbalist
Marisa has been treating patients with acupuncture and herbal therapy since 2011. Upon graduating from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine, she launched her practice successfully treating hundreds of people; the vast majority being women seeking help with fertility and pain.
Marisa's passion for acupuncture emerged from her personal experience with debilitating occipital migraines accompanied by aura. After finding relief through acupuncture and herbal treatments, she felt inspired to shift her focus toward healing others.
In 2015, Marisa, expecting identical twins, put her practice on pause due to her high-risk pregnancy. However, the experience strengthened her dedication to supporting women during difficult pregnancies. Several months postpartum, she was back in action, providing acupuncture for women in active labor at the South Austin Area Birthing Center.
Marisa joined The Texas Center for Reproductive Acupuncture in 2016 working closely with founder Kirsten Karchmer. She took over in 2019 as the Clinical Director and is dedicated to each and every one of her patients facing health & fertility challenges; with the goal of improving overall wellness.
